To me, a fast car is one that accelerates fast, brakes fast, corners fast, and is fast when flat out - and is exciting to drive. But I don't much care if the top speed if 150 or 250 mph so long as the car is fun to drive. That is really what fast cars about - fun to drive. But if your idea of fun is to blow your mates in a drag race, that's fine.
All about fast cars is just that - it covers all types of fast cars in our new group of sites. There are different sections of fast cars, starting with exotic cars and supercars - these are the fast cars that are most expensive and have the highest performance. Many of these supercars are at home on race tracks and the road.
Sports cars in Fast Sports Cars
Now, sports cars are covered in detail in Fast Sports Cars, a new site that starts off with the sports cars that used to be in Fast-Autos. These are important and fun fast cars.
Hot hatches, sedans and wagons in Fast Muscle Cars
Next, hot hatches, sedans and tuned cars are covered in Fast Muscle Cars. This includes some fast cars that used to be included in the supercars section of Fast-Autos. Limits have been set on what qualifies as a supercar, so that the sites can be more consistent - anything that is quick for its size can be a muscle car, as well as those very fast sedans that are the fastest cars on this site. Then, there are the tuners - the guys who turn ordinary cars into muscle cars. These are here, too.
Fast Car Rental
Also, there is a section on fast car rental, for those who want to taste fast cars, or don't want the hassle of owning one. You can actually rent quite a number of really fast cars these days, and can also join a fast car 'club' where you get the use of a variety of fast cars for a number of days each year. The number of days depends whether you choose the most expensive fast cars or the cheapest.
Avoid Speeding Tickets
In addition, because people who drive fast cars are more likely to get speeding tickets than others there is also a site in our group to help you avoid speeding tickets. This is End Speeding Tickets. Incidentally, some years ago, a traffic police officer in the UK admitted that whenever they saw a Porsche they clocked its speed, because it was likely to be speeding. This is one reason why you might need the advice on this site.
I don't advocate reckless driving, but because fast cars are designed to go fast, it is difficult at times to keep them down to the speed limit, so I think you need all the help you can get to avoid speeding tickets.
With our new group of site, each section is on a separate site, but there are links to the other sites on each one. This site just sits over them, giving you access to all.
